Over the years, Junipero Serra High School has been blessed through the financial support and countless volunteer hours in support of our programs. To continue supporting our programs, Serra is hosting the 9th Annual Car Show on Saturday, April 27, 2019.
For prospective sponsors not familiar with our school, Serra is a Catholic Preparatory high school located in Gardena, California, with a student body of 450 students that come from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. For the past eight years, 100% of our graduates have qualified for college and over 70% attend four year universities. For the past four years, Serra’s math department won the National Catholic Small School Math Championship. Our athletic achievements are equally impressive. In the past five years, we have won the State Championships in Football, Basketball, and Track, winning 11 CIF championships. Aside from our academic and athletic success, we are most proud of our students for being morally aware young men and women who serve each other and their society.
On Saturday, April 27, 2019, Serra will sponsor the 9th Annual Serra High School Car Show to raise vital funds for our school. This is one of the most important fundraising events of the year and the proceeds directly to support athletic programs. Recent budget cuts have led to an even greater need in fundraising efforts this year.
An integral part of making the car show a success is not only getting people to attend the event, but also obtaining scholarships from local businesses. Our fundraiser goal for the 2018-2019 school year is to raise $40,000. With your donation and support, this goal is achievable!
