It’s How We Ring In the Holidays
There’s no better way to get in the holiday mood than with the Annual Pistons & Paint car show in Denton, Texas, and this year was an excellent primer. We like this show because it’s held every November at the Denton Fair Grounds, a giant grass field that provides plenty of space. And the space is needed because there are plenty of hot rods, kustoms, rat rods, originals and motorcycles.
The show is pre-’64 and older, so you know the hot rod crowd comes out en masse. And that suites us just fine, because great people, cool cars and killer bands make for timeless photography. And this year was made extra special by the presence of one of our favorite musicians – Mr. Junior Brown himself. If you’ve never heard Junior live, then do yourself a favor and check his website (https://www.juniorbrown.com) for his schedule. He is, simply put, amazing.
